Zona Park is the studio of Matt Gerhard and Aaron Blount. Based on 40 acres in Lockhart, TX. 30 mins from Austin and easy access to San Antonio.

Production
Production takes many forms. It might involve contributing ideas, refining arrangements, or simply stepping back to capture a compelling performance. I love collaborating closely with artists to draw out their best work and translate it authentically to record.

Recording
Whether crafting a track from the ground up or capturing a full band in its natural element, I bring a flexible and creative approach to recording. I enjoy experimenting with unconventional sounds just as much as I appreciate the energy of a great live take.

Mixing
From enhancing home-recorded material to offering a fresh perspective on an existing project, I approach every mix with attention to detail and the artist's vision in mind-delivering clarity, depth, and emotional impact.

Mastering
I ensure consistency and cohesion across your entire project, balancing songs so they sound great across all formats-digital or physical-and are ready for release.

Post-Production
From voiceover recording and editing for podcasts and audiobooks to custom sound design, music, and mixing for commercials, TV, or film-I offer full post-production support tailored to your project.

Remote Collaboration
I'm fortunate to be connected with a wide network of talented musicians here in Austin. Whether you need drums, bass, guitar, keys, horns, or strings-I can contribute parts directly or connect you with players who fit your sound, and deliver high-quality remote recordings.

Most of my sessions take place at Zona Park, but I'm always open to working in other studios if another space feels like a better fit for your project. I value the creative energy that comes from new environments.
